History

Maranatha Baptist Church began on September 19, 1965, under the leadership of Dr. William A. Brock. This
ministry was founded on three phrases that have governed our thinking, aims, desires and practices:

These words direct our obedience and confidence in the inspired, inerrant Word of God, determine our worship and
impact every area of our lives. (See What We Believe).

Flowing out of our commitment to God�s Word is a desire to see people come to know the Lord Jesus as their
personal Savior and become actively involved in day-to-day fellowship with Him. Our first concern is that all might
come to know Christ as their personal Savior and Lord. If you have come to know Christ as your personal Savior, or
if you desire to know more of what the Bible teaches, please contact us or talk with one of our pastors following
any of our services.

We also have a great desire to see those who know Christ as their Savior grow in their relationship with Him.
Growth comes through studying the Word of God and putting into practice the lessons we learn from the
Scriptures. We invite you to join us as we gather together to study God's Word, worship Him and work together to
serve Him.

Maranatha Baptist Church fellowships with the Ohio Association of Regular Baptist Churches (OARBC) on the
state level and the General Association of Regular Baptist Churches (GARBC) on the national level.
