Adult Ministry

Growing in grace, serving with joy, leading with humility, and standing firm in the faith.

Our Adult Ministries seek to help men and women at every stage of life grow as faithful followers of Jesus Christ. Across each ministry, our desire is to see adults rooted in God’s Word, strengthened through prayer and meaningful relationships, and equipped to serve Christ faithfully in their homes, the church, and the world. Whether through discipleship, fellowship, mentoring, or service, these ministries are meant to cultivate spiritual maturity, Christlike love, and a deeper connection to the life of the church.

Men’s Ministry

Our Men’s Ministry is committed to equipping men to grow as disciples, leaders, and servants of Christ in their homes, church, workplace, and community. Grounded in God’s Word and strengthened through fellowship, this ministry encourages men to pursue godly character, faithful leadership, and a growing readiness to serve others well. Our desire is to see men increasingly equipped to care for others biblically, to lead with humility and conviction, and to serve the church in ways that reflect spiritual maturity and faithfulness.

Women’s Ministry

Our Women’s Ministry is committed to encouraging women to grow in their love for Christ while strengthening one another through prayer, mentoring, and the study of God’s Word. Following the pattern of Scripture, this ministry fosters meaningful, multi-generational relationships in which women encourage one another toward faith, godly character, and love for others. Our desire is to see women deeply rooted in Christ, actively investing in one another, and using their lives to strengthen the church family.

Young Adults Ministry

Our Young Adult Ministry is committed to helping young men and women take the next step in following Jesus through biblical community, intentional discipleship, and joyful service. In a season of significant transition and growth, we desire to see young adults deeply rooted in God’s Word, meaningfully connected to the life of the church, and strengthened through relationships with both peers and older believers. Our aim is to encourage spiritual maturity, faithful perseverance, and a growing love for Christ, His people, and the world He calls us to serve.

Marriage Ministry

Our Marriage Ministry helps couples build their marriages on God and His Word so that they increasingly reflect the beauty of Christ’s relationship with His Bride, the Church. Rooted in the hope of the gospel, we encourage husbands and wives to grow in spiritual strength, faithfulness, and Christ-centered love through every season of marriage. We also foster relationships through which experienced couples can encourage, disciple, and offer godly counsel to others.

Couples from both inside and outside Maranatha are welcome to participate. Through prayer, biblical teaching, time together in God’s Word, and meaningful relationships with other couples, we create opportunities for marriages to grow. Game nights, fireside chats, getaway weekends, marriage retreats, and Connect Groups provide time for couples to reconnect with one another, form friendships, and receive encouragement as they seek to build homes grounded on Christ.

Seniors Ministry (Y.E.S.)

Young Enough to Serve

Our Y.E.S. Ministry encourages and supports the senior saints in our church family as they remain steadfast and active in the work of the Lord. Through fellowship, encouragement, and ongoing opportunities for service, this ministry helps senior adults continue using their gifts in meaningful ways while building relationships across generations. Our desire is to honor the example of faithful saints, encourage enduring fruitfulness, and strengthen the whole church through their wisdom, presence, and service.

Abigail’s Sisters

Abigail’s Sisters seeks to encourage, support, and care for women at Maranatha who, for a variety of reasons, come to church on their own. This ministry helps ensure that these women know they are not alone, but are loved, valued, and meaningfully connected within the church family. Our desire is to come alongside them with encouragement, friendship, and support so that they are strengthened in Christ, growing in community, and able to find meaningful ways to serve within the body of Christ.

Life Together at MBC

Our BUILD pathway is the primary way we help believers grow from new faith toward maturity in Christ. With various on-ramps, off-ramps, and landing points along the way, people at every stage of life gather around God’s Word, pray together, build meaningful relationships, encourage one another, and serve together as we learn to follow Jesus faithfully.
