What is God’s Glory?

The Glory of God

When Christians talk about God's glory, we mean the greatness, beauty, goodness, and worth of God. God is the most important and valuable reality in the universe, and He deserves to be known, loved, trusted, and worshiped above all else.

God's glory is about making much of God rather than ourselves.

Because of that, we want God's glory to be at the center of everything we do. Our ministries are not simply programs to fill a calendar or activities to keep people busy. We want everything we do to help people see God more clearly, treasure Him more deeply, and live in a way that reflects His greatness to the world.

01

See God More Clearly

Through Scripture, we want people to know God as He has revealed Himself and to behold more of His greatness, holiness, goodness, and grace.

02

Treasure God More Deeply

We desire for love for God to grow as people come to recognize that He is worthy of our trust, affection, obedience, and worship.

03

Reflect His Greatness

Our lives should increasingly display the character of God through faithfulness, humility, love, holiness, generosity, and service.

04

Make Christ Known

As we teach, serve, care for one another, and share the gospel, we want attention to be directed toward Jesus Christ rather than ourselves.

This conviction shapes every area of ministry. Whether we are teaching children, studying the Bible, serving others, caring for one another, strengthening marriages, discipling men and women, or sharing the gospel, the purpose remains the same.

We want people to encounter the truth of God's Word, grow in their love for Him, and increasingly live in a way that points beyond themselves to the One who is worthy of all glory.

In all that we do, our desire is simple: that God would be seen as great, Christ would be treasured, and His people would live for His glory.
