Alex Kistler

Alex has been worshiping at Maranatha for his entire life and has been serving as deacon-elect since 2021. He works as a behavioral assistant at a public school. He serves our church body by helping lead the young adult’s group and providing leadership in our youth ministry.

A passage of scripture that encourages Alex is John 1:1-5, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” It reminds him that Christ is not just his savior but also his creator and sustainer, He is our light and darkness cannot overcome him!
