David Bout

Pastor David has been married to his wife, Brenda, since 1992. They have four children—one now safely in the arms of Jesus—along with sons- and a daughter-in-law and three grandchildren. David grew up in Florida and earned a B.S. in Child Development and Family Relations from Florida State University, followed by a master’s degree in Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served in vocational ministry since 1997, working with students, families, and internationals, and has a passion for helping people walk faithfully and intimately with Christ, fulfill their God-given calling, and engage in God’s mission to the nations. 

One of his favorite passages is found in 1 John 3:1-3: “See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are…Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure.”
