Lucas Barbosa

Lucas has been a member at Maranatha since 2024. He has been married to his wife, Abi, since 2024 as well and they have a beautiful daughter named Lucy. Lucas works at Nationwide as a Software Engineer and uses those skills to help build the Maranatha website. Alongside that, he enjoys serving in the Young Adults Ministry, as well as being an active participant in the Connect Groups, Men’s Bible Study, and Soccer Ministry. A verse that is dear to his heart is Philippians 4:11-13, “Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” It reminds him of the sufficiency of Christ in times of need and the strength He provides to accomplish His will.
