Tom Zentz

Tom and Kari have been members at Maranatha since 1984 when Tom started teaching at Maranatha Christian School. They were married in 1985. Between 1995 – 2005, they ministered in Japan as church-planting missionaries with ABWE. Tom has served as a deacon from 1993 – 1995, and then from 2010 to present. They have been blessed with 6 children, 2 daughters-in-law, 1 son-in-law, and 7 grandchildren. Tom works as a financial advisor. He currently serves our church body as our mission’s deacon and church clerk. Tom and Kari are also Small Group leaders. As opportunities arise, Tom also leads Connect Groups.

One of his favorite passages is Lamentations 3:22-23, “The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Tom asks prayer for: wisdom in ministry to our church family as well as his own family, ongoing purity, a deepening love for Jesus, opportunities to share the Good News, wisdom in his discipling relationships, and that each member of their family follows Christ.
