The goal of our men's ministry is multi-faceted, but the heart of it is found in the great commission: "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations." Our goal would be to provide opportunities for our men to grow to understand their calling as leaders and to equip them with God's Word to be disciple makers in every sphere of life including the family, church, work, and community.
Every Thursday night (with a few exceptions) from 7-9pm our gym is open to any men in the community who would like to play pick-up basketball. This is a great opportunity to both get some exercise, and to build relationships around the game of basketball. Every week, one of the men from our church will lead a short devotion. Come out for a great time of fun and fellowship!
Each year as spring nears, we attend the Men of God Conference hosted by Calvary Baptist Church in Bellefontaine, OH. This is an-all day event which includes three main sessions for worshipping the Lord through song and by teaching of the Word of God. Men can choose between various break-out sessions with a wide variety of topics. The goal of this day is worship, fellowship, discipleship, and spiritual growth.
Each year in the fall, we men attend a men's retreat at Scioto Hills Christian Retreat Center in southern Ohio. We join men from our sister churches for a weekend getaway filled with Bible Study, prayer, fellowship, great food, games and outdoor activities including a shooting range, zip-lining, frisbee golf and more. Look for sign-up information around August and come up for an amazing weekend centered around God's Word!
